Job summary

CACI in Reston, VA is seeking an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to support the Department of State under the GMOS contract. You will guide a high-performing team to implement RMF, NIST, and FISMA controls across 40,000+ users in a complex enterprise IT environment.

The role requires a Secret clearance, extensive ISSO/ISSM experience, and strong expertise in security engineering, incident response, and continuous monitoring.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree and 13+ years of relevant cybersecurity experience (or equivalent).
• Active Secret clearance.
• Experience as ISSO/ISSM or security engineer in complex enterprise IT environments.
• Experience implementing RMF/FISMA/NIST 800-53 controls.
• Experience A&A lifecycle, SSPs, POA&Ms, and continuous monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Leads security and internal controls maintenance across DOS policies.
• Manages vulnerability monitoring & remediation coordination.
• Provides security guidance for service portfolio management and network engineering.
• Ensures security for AD, Exchange, DNS, DHCP, and backups.
• Develops security documentation and artifacts throughout the lifecycle.
