Job summary

E-INFOSOL is seeking a highly motivated Information System Security Officer to support a federal agency in Clarksburg, WV. The ISSO will verify compliance with FISMA, NIST, STIG, FIPS, and NIPS while maintaining a secure lifecycle for information systems and data.

The role includes leading A&A activities, creating security documentation, conducting vulnerability scans, and coordinating with government managers. A TS clearance and related certifications are required or pursued.

Qualifications

Active Top-Secret clearance with capability to obtain SCI/CI Poly if needed.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, virtualization, and cloud computing technologies.
Familiarity with security tools such as Nessus, Security Center, AppDetectivePro, WebInspect, and NMAP.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day security configuration, practices, and monitoring for the customer’s information system(s).
Lead security authorization processes and define system configuration standards.
Manage vulnerability assessment, incident response support, and Risk Management Framework activities.
Upload security control evidence to GRC and support monitoring phases.
Prepare SSNs, POA&Ms, Risk Assessments, PIAs and other NIST SP 800-53 docs.
