Job summary

JYG Innovations is seeking an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) for on-site duties at Joint Base San Antonio–Fort Sam Houston, TX. You will provide high-level cybersecurity support to TSRL, Bioeffects Division, manage RMF requirements, maintain ATOs, and ensure a strong security posture.

The role requires U.S. citizenship, a Security+ certification, an AS degree in IT or Cybersecurity, and experience with DoD 8140.

Qualifications

U.S. citizenship required for base and Government network access
Associate of Science degree in IT or Cybersecurity
At least one year of RMF experience
Current, valid Security+ certification
DoD 8140.03 education/certifications aligned with role
Intermediate cybersecurity work‑role experience
Ability to perform ISSO duties for DoD 8140 work role 721
Strong written/verbal/analytical skills
Ability to sign NDA and maintain required certifications

Responsibilities

Serve as ISSO for TSRL cybersecurity architecture, RMF requirements and policy.
Administer, track, and maintain ATOs; manage system artifacts in eMASS and related tools.
Prepare system security plans, risk assessments, and POA&Ms; maintain docs.
Assess threats, run scans, maintain STIGs, and develop remediation plans.
Support audits, inspections, and configuration-management reviews.
Coordinate onboarding/offboarding and ensure training compliance
