Job summary

The role requires active Top Secret/SCI clearance, experience with RMF, ICD 503, NISPOM guidance, and strong incident response management abilities. Travel up to 10% is expected.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Assessment & Authorization (A&A) documentation of assigned systems
• Perform security control assessments and execute Continuous Monitoring Plans
• Work with IT and system administration to develop device and system hardening guides following DISA and NIST guidelines
• Responsible for the tracking and resolution of POA&Ms
• Manage the incident response process for areas of responsibility
• Develop new concepts, standards, and training material to improve processes
• Lead inventory and asset management discovery and tracking activities
• Work with site leadership to improve the security posture of systems and networks
• Mentor junior ISSOs in execution of tasks
• Travel up to 10%
