Job summary

Peraton is seeking an Information System Security Manager to support Peraton Labs’ information assurance and IT operations in the Silver Spring, MD area. This is a full-time, on-site role requiring leadership of information assurance across environments, and delivery of RMF artifacts.

The ideal candidate will hold a CISSP or DoD IAM Level III, possess TS clearance (SCI eligible), and have extensive ATO experience with Linux and networking expertise.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years' experience with BS/BA (or 6 years with MS/MA); extra 4 years may substitute degree.
• Active TS clearance with ability to obtain SCI.
• CISSP or equivalent certification (DoDM 8140.03 IAM Level III).
• Experience with SAP and DCSA assessments and authorizations.
• 5+ years working with ATO, continuous monitoring, POA&Ms, and NIST 800-37/800-53 Rev4/Rev5.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage information assurance efforts across multiple environments in Silver Spring, MD.
• Create and maintain RMF packages, A&A, SCRs, and related artifacts.
• Ensure continuous monitoring, patching, backups, vulnerability scanning.
• Oversee Linux and Microsoft classified systems administration.
• Coordinate with ISO and PMs to maintain security posture.
• Respond to incidents and support annual self-inspections.
