Job summary

CACI is seeking an Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) to support secure network infrastructure and system lifecycle protection. You will implement and maintain controls aligned with RMF, NIST 800-53, and CNSSI 1253, ensuring secure design, continuous monitoring, and vulnerability remediation across mission systems.

Qualified candidates hold TS/SCI with Polygraph, IASAE Level II, and 10+ years of relevant experience, with strong communication and documentation skills to support ATO

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of ISSE/ISSO experience, preferably in Intelligence Community or DoD.
• Current TS/SCI with Polygraph (Required).
• Must meet DoD 8570/8140 IASAE Level II (e.g., CISSP, CASP+, CSSLP).
• Working knowledge of NIST 800-53 controls and RMF processes.
• Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP and security concepts (VPNs, IDS/IPS, DMZ).
• Experience with A&A tracking tools such as Xacta or eMASS.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Security Architecture: design secure system architectures meeting requirements and standards.
• RMF Execution: support RMF steps 1–6 and ATO process.
• Security Documentation: develop SSP, SCTM, and BoE artifacts.
• Security Engineering: define security requirements and SDN/Zero Trust controls.
• Security Evaluation: review designs for security impacts prior to implementation.
• Compliance: ensure hardware/software meet SCO, align with NIST 800-53, ICD 503, CNSSI 1253.
• Continuous Monitoring: implement ConMon with automated tools.
• Vulnerability Management: perform risk assessments and remediation.
• Incident Response: assist with incidents and on-call rotation.
• Network Integration: support secure data flow across enterprise.
