Job summary

Praescient Analytics seeks an ISSE Senior in Huntsville, AL to lead security engineering for a DoD-focused ISaaS program. You will guide architecture decisions, implement controls like MFA and centralized logging, and help craft SSPs to align with RMF requirements.

Expect eight-plus years in secure design, leadership of security teams, and active TS/SCI clearance (polygraph post-hire). Travel and cross-functional collaboration are possible as part of program success.

Qualifications

• Eight+ years of experience in secure design, analysis, and testing of information security systems.
• Eight+ years applying federal methods and standards to ensure security safeguards are properly documented.
• Eight+ years creating and updating security test plans to detect and mitigate risks.
• Documented leadership experience supervising teams of IT or security professionals.
• Active TS/SCI Clearance (Polygraph required post-hire). Certifications: CISSP or CEH.

Responsibilities

• Advisory & Design: serve as principal technical advisor on cybersecurity architecture and configurations.
• Controls Implementation: build security configurations including MFA, centralized logging, and vulnerability remediation.
• System Security Plans (SSP): provide input for SSP development ensuring least privilege data flows.
• Gap Remediation: develop remediation approaches for control gaps identified in self-assessments.
