SECON-DELTA in Hanover, MD, is seeking a senior Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) Level III for on-site engagement. The role requires an active TS/SCI with full scope polygraph and IASAE Level III, with ISSEP and CISSP certifications.

You will lead security engineering efforts across networking, computing, and enclave environments, ensuring compliance with DoD RMF and related standards. The ideal candidate brings 20 years of ISSE experience, a relevant degree, and deep knowledge of

Qualifications

• Twenty (20) years’ ISSE experience on programs with cybersecurity principles and technology.
• Bachelor’s degree required; four extra years of ISSE experience may substitute for a total of 24 years.
• Master’s degree may substitute for two years of experience, reducing requirement to 18 years.
• DoD 8570 IASAE Level 3 compliance required; ISSEP and CISSP certifications required.
• Knowledge of Federal, NSA, IC, and DoD information security regulations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary security engineering representative on engineering teams for secure networking, computing, and enclave environments.
• Design, develop, and implement secure networking, computing, and enclave environments in accordance with Cybersecurity policy.
• Evaluate and integrate Cybersecurity architectures, systems, or components across projects.
• Support security planning, risk analysis, and risk management activities.
• Identify and define overall security requirements for proper data handling.
• Design system or network layouts across multiple enclaves with differing data protection requirements.
• Recommend system-level solutions to meet security requirements.
