Sentar in Arlington, VA (also Mechanicsburg, PA) seeks a Subject Matter Expert III - Information Systems Security Engineer to lead security architecture and automation in AWS environments.

The role requires a Secret clearance, 12 years in systems engineering and cybersecurity, and multiple AWS/CISSP certifications; you will translate RMF/NIST into automated code and deliver secure, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 12 years in systems engineering and cybersecurity; 7+ in security automation, cloud engineering, and architecture.
• 5 years as lead technical authority on enterprise projects.
• 5 years translating RMF, NIST, DISA STIGs into automated, operational code.
• Clearance Level: Secret.
• Certifications: AWS DevOps Engineer – Professional; AWS Solutions Architect – Professional; AWS Security – Specialty; or CISSP (ISSEP/ISSAP preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead ISSE role and technical authority for security architecture and automation.
• Design, build, and sustain DSCA's security automation in AWS infrastructure.
• Translate DoW/regulatory requirements into automated, operational code.
