Job summary

GC2IT is seeking an Information System Security Engineering professional to support cybersecurity and secure system engineering for DIA CI and HUMINT IT modernization activities. The ISSE Specialist will help ensure software designs, prototypes, enterprise applications, data systems, and other technical solutions comply with applicable security and Supply Chain Risk Management requirements.

This position is contingent upon contract award and requires a Senior level professional with extensive

Qualifications

• Significant experience in ISSE or related cybersecurity discipline.
• Experience supporting secure software or system development.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity engineering principles and system security requirements.
• Experience evaluating designs, architectures, or prototypes.
• Ability to collaborate with developers and government stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide ISSE support for CI and HUMINT systems.
• Review software architecture and designs for cybersecurity.
• Ensure designs comply with Supply Chain Risk Management requirements.
• Coordinate with data engineers, developers, and Government cybersecurity personnel.
• Support secure design, testing, integration, and implementation activities.
• Identify security risks and mitigation measures.
• Support system security documentation and technical reviews.
• Support mission-critical and high-visibility technical initiatives.
• Perform assigned functional duties independently.
• Provide oversight or guidance to less-senior staff when required.
