Job summary

Amatriot Group, LLC in Annapolis Junction, MD is seeking a Senior Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) to design, implement, and maintain enterprise security aligned with NIST RMF, DoD STIGs, and CIS benchmarks.

The role covers security engineering across the SDLC, vulnerability management, and secure configurations across servers, cloud, and containerized environments. DoD IA architectures and program support are included.

Qualifications

• Strong background in networking, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Cloud security expertise in AWS and Azure.
• Kubernetes and DevSecOps experience.
• DoD RMF, NIST SP 800-161, STIGs knowledge and compliance.
• Hands-on experience with Nessus, CyberArk, Splunk, VMware, and Linux systems.
• Scripting and automation with PowerShell, Python, Bash, and Ansible.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise security architecture.
• Engineer security across the SDLC and perform risk assessments.
• Integrate cybersecurity requirements in Windows/Linux, cloud, and containers.
• Lead DoD IA architecture projects and compliance efforts.
• Produce security docs and brief leadership on risks and status.
