Job summary

Peraton is seeking an Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) to secure complex systems, ensure compliance with federal cybersecurity frameworks, and protect sensitive information.

Duties include vulnerability management with Tenable and Nessus, security assessments of large-scale cloud environments, and risk analysis and management across enclaves with varied data protection requirements.

Qualifications

• 14+ years of ISSE experience on similar programs.
• DoD 8570.01-M compliance with IASAE Level 2.
• CISSP certification required and will be verified during interview or offer process.

Responsibilities

• Secure complex systems and ensure compliance with federal cybersecurity frameworks.
• Conduct vulnerability management using enterprise tools like Tenable Security Center and Nessus.
• Perform security assessments of large-scale cloud environments and identify vulnerabilities, non-compliance, and mitigations.
• Provide security planning, risk analysis, and risk management.
• Design system or network architectures across multiple enclaves with varying data protection requirements.
• Recommend system-level security solutions and support enforcement of trusted relationships among external systems.
