Sempra Inc. is seeking an experienced audit professional to own complex IT audit workstreams, integrate analytics into testing, and mentor team members.

The role focuses on risk-based approaches across governance, development, operations, and information security, with hybrid onsite/remote work in Southern California. The candidate will evaluate automated controls, lead stakeholder discussions, and drive improvements to audit templates and tooling while delivering actionable remediation

Qualifications

• Design risk-based audit programs for multi-system processes.
• Evaluate design and operating effectiveness of IT controls.
• Lead stakeholder walkthroughs to align on criteria and end-to-end coverage.
• Coach associates on documentation quality and evidence sufficiency.

Responsabilités

• Design risk-based audit programs spanning governance, development, and operations.
• Apply data analysis to test large populations and identify outliers.
• Assess third-party or service provider controls and determine additional procedures.
• Produce concise reporting connecting evidence to impact and remediation priorities.
