Job summary

BrightView is seeking an Irrigation Technician to join our field operations. You will monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain landscape irrigation systems on commercial properties, ensuring reliable operation and client satisfaction.

A minimum of 1 year of verified irrigation experience and a valid driver’s license are required. DOT Medical Card is preferred. Resumes detailing irrigation experience are essential.

Starting/Minimum rate of pay is $28/hour — higher rates possible based on verified experience and certifications.

This is not an entry-level role. A minimum of 1 year of verified experience as a Landscape Irrigation Technician is required. Applicants must provide previous employer contact information for experience verification.

Minimum Requirements:

• Valid Driver’s License (Required)
• Chauffeur’s License or Endorsement (may be Required)
• Minimum 1 Year of Experience specifically as a Landscape Irrigation Technician (Required)
• DOT Medical Card (Preferred). If not currently held, candidates must be able to pass a DOT-compliant medical exam and drug screening, as required by federal law.

Here’s what you’d do:

An Irrigation Technician is able to foresee potential problems and have the specialty skills needed to solve them. You’d be responsible for:

• Monitoring and testing new installations, troubleshoot and repair problems, observe pipe and valve placements, and evaluate start-ups, winterization and overall operation of the irrigation system.
• Conducting and recording detailed inspections and plan/execute upgrades of client systems.

You might be a good fit if you have:

• Along with supervisory skills and your proactive manner, we require a minimum of 1 year of productive experience in the installation, inspection and repair of irrigation systems.
• A valid driver’s license
• Good knowledge of trenchers, multi-meters, wire locators, ditchers and pipe sizing are also essential.

And while not mandatory, it would be great if you also have:

• Bilingual in Spanish
• Ability to create and read site map colored charts/legends

Compensation Pay Range:

Starting/Minimum rate of pay is $28/hour — higher rates possible based on verified experience and certifications.
