Job summary

BrightView is seeking an Irrigation Technician in Columbus, OH to join a best-in-class landscape team. You will help install, inspect, test, and maintain irrigation systems and ensure reliability of start-ups, winterization, and ongoing operation.

This role requires a minimum of 1 year of verified irrigation experience and a valid driver’s license. Applicants must provide previous employer contact information for verification; bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of verified experience as Landscape Irrigation Technician.
• Valid Driver’s License and Chauffeur’s License or Endorsement.
• DDOT Medical Card preferred; able to pass a DOT medical exam and drug screening.
• Resumes must clearly detail Irrigation Technician experience.
• This is not an entry-level role.

• Monitor and test new installations, troubleshoot and repair problems, observe pipe and valve placements, and evaluate start-ups, winterization and overall operation of the irrigation system.

THE PAY RANGE FOR THIS ROLE IS $19 - $25 PER HOUR BASED UPON PREVIOUS RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE AND ANY CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSES YOU HOLD.

This is not an entry-level role. Aminimum of 1 year of verified experienceas aLandscape Irrigation Technicianis required. Applicantsmust provide previous employer contact information for experience verification.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License(Required)
• Chauffeur’s License or Endorsement(Required)
• Minimum 1 Year of Experiencespecifically as a Landscape Irrigation Technician (Required)
• DDOT Medical Card(Preferred). If not currently held, candidatesmust be able to pass a DOT-compliant medical exam and drug screening, as required by federal law.

You’d Be Responsible For

• Monitoring and testing new installations, troubleshoot and repair problems, observe pipe and valve placements, and evaluate start-ups, winterization and overall operation of the irrigation system.
• Conducting and recording detailed inspections and plan/execute upgrades of client systems.

You Might Be a Good Fit If You Have

• Along with supervisory skills and your proactive manner, we require a minimum of 1 year of productive experience in the installation, inspection and repair of irrigation systems.
• A valid driver’s license
• Good knowledge of trenchers, multi-meters, wire locators, ditchers and pipe sizing are also essential.

And while not mandatory, it would be great if you also have:

• Bilingual in Spanish
• Ability to create and read site map colored charts/legends

Compensation Pay Range

THE PAY RANGE FOR THIS ROLE IS $19 - $25 PER HOUR BASED UPON PREVIOUS RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE AND ANY CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSES YOU HOLD.
