Job summary

SGS is seeking an Instrument Analyst to join the Product Development Team for Stable Isotope service. You will develop methods and operate IRMS/CRDS systems, ensuring high-quality data and ISO/IEC 17025 compliance.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant science and at least 3 years of laboratory instrumentation experience, with strong troubleshooting and documentation skills. On-site opportunity in Miami with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor-level scientific degree required or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of lab experience with analytical instrumentation.
  • Hands-on IRMS/GC/CRDS experience preferred.
  • Experience with data management and QC procedures.
  • Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, optimize, and validate analytical methods for stable isotope analysis.
  • Operate, monitor, and maintain IRMS and CRDS instrumentation.
  • Perform calibrations and QC evaluations; review data for accuracy and compliance.
  • Prepare samples and support production runs as needed.
  • Maintain detailed lab records and instrument logs.
