Job summary

Procopio, Cory, Hargreaves & Savitch LLP is seeking a Senior Intellectual Property Assistant or Paralegal to support its IP team in California offices (San Diego, Del Mar Heights, Irvine, or Palo Alto). This hybrid role requires in-office presence three days per week and focuses on U.S.

patent prosecution and related tasks. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of IP prosecution experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and proficiency with MS Office and USPTO

Qualifications

• Five years of U.S. IP prosecution experience.
• Two or more years of administrative and/or legal support experience.
• Strong computer skills and Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Familiarity with IP docketing systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide U.S. patent prosecution support, including preparing and filing patent applications and related documents.
• Prepare and file PCT filings and coordinate international filings with foreign associates.
• Manage deadlines, prepare docket reports, and enter time spent on billable projects.
