Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior IoT Engineer for the Applied Intelligence initiative. You will build connected sensor infrastructure and edge intelligence for ML pipelines powering factory sensing, document processing, and drawing conversion.

You will develop IoT-enabled data collection, enable ML workflows, and ensure secure, scalable architectures across factory environments. This role emphasizes real-world operational impact and cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building production software systems.
• Deep expertise in IoT systems, edge computing, and OT/IT convergence.
• Experience with MQTT, CoAP, HTTP/S and cloud IoT platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy IoT sensor networks and edge devices for real-time factory data.
• Develop edge intelligence for real-time ML inference on IoT devices.
• Write production-grade code with tests and participate in code reviews.
• Implement secure IoT architectures and data pipelines to cloud/edge ML systems.
• Collaborate with manufacturing engineers to translate workflows into IoT requirements.
