Job summary

Perry Weather is seeking a Senior IoT / Embedded Linux Engineer to join our hardware and firmware team in Kentucky. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining embedded software for Linux platforms while collaborating with hardware engineers.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of embedded software development experience.
• Deep proficiency in C and C++; Python for scripting and tooling.
• Strong experience with embedded Linux (kernel, drivers, BSP) and build systems (Yocto and/or Buildroot).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software for embedded Linux platforms.
• Own the Linux BSP, including bootloader, device tree, and kernel configuration.
• Develop and maintain device drivers for peripherals.
