Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or Computer Science, or an Associate Degree in Electronics with 15 years of firmware experience.
• Experience in firmware architectures for intelligent sensors and remote monitoring applications.
• Hands-on coding in C and C#, .NET; RTOS development for embedded systems.
• Experience with embedded IoT security is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conceive new technology and product ideas with cutting-edge solutions.
• Analyze architecture and system requirements for embedded systems.
• Collaborate with hardware design on specs, electrical design, and test software.
• Create prototypes to demonstrate MVP and new concepts.
• Design, write and test firmware for electronic and electromechanical equipment.
• Develop test plans and troubleshoot beta and released products.
• Support sustaining engineering to improve sensor accuracy and performance.
• Develop embedded firmware to support core device operations and communications.
• Create knowledge base to preserve IP and share processes.
• Interact with cross-functional teams and external partners.
