Verily Health in Boston, MA is seeking a senior iOS engineer to design, implement, and maintain critical patient-facing features in Verily Me, our flagship mobile app.

You will collaborate with product, UX, test, and compliance teams to deliver regulated, high-quality software, using Swift and SwiftUI, with opportunities for cross-platform work and meaningful impact on patient care. You will mentor junior developers and participate in code reviews to drive engineering excellence.

You will own features of Verily Me, our patient-facing app, and will work closely with Product, UX, Test, and compliance owners to deliver a best-in-class health experience. Your work will help our users manage their chronic health conditions and general health while participating in important clinical research.

Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications

• Strong CS fundamentals with BS Computer Science degree OR equivalent combination of experience and education.
• 5+ years of experience in developing iOS mobile applications in an industry setting.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Native app development experience in Swift and SwiftUI.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of modern iOS frameworks and architecture (e.g. TCA).
• Passionate about UX with a high empathy for users.
• Familiarity with automated testing.
• Some experience with full-stack development, including backend services and web frontends.
• Enthusiasm for building high-quality, public-facing iOS apps.

Qualified applicants must not require employer sponsored work authorization now or in the future for employment in the United States.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $191,000 - $215,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations.

Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
