Job summary

Sony Interactive Entertainment is seeking a Senior Software Quality Engineer (Contract) to join the Quality Engineering team in a hybrid role based in San Mateo, CA. This 6-month contract focuses on end-to-end testing of iOS mobile applications with strong automation experience.

You will collaborate with software engineers, SDETs, and product teams to validate features, execute test plans, expand automation, and ensure high-quality releases within CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software quality engineering, with strong hands-on experience testing iOS mobile applications.
• Hands-on experience with mobile automation frameworks and Python-based automation.

Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end testing activities for iOS mobile applications, including functional, integration, and regression tests.
• Review requirements and designs to identify test scenarios and develop test plans.
• Perform manual and automated testing using iOS simulators, devices, and cloud testing platforms.
• Collaborate with engineers to increase automation coverage and improve test effectiveness.
• Validate automated test suites, investigate failures, and support CI/CD validation.
