Job summary

The Walt Disney Company is seeking a Senior Product Software Engineer to design a feature-rich streaming playback library for Apple devices. You will work in Objective-C/Swift on a layered architecture and collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, and content creators to deliver world-class playback across Disney brands.

Qualifications

5+ years in iOS development with Swift.
Strong UI with UIKit or SwiftUI (5+ years).
3+ years applying agile processes.
Experience across full software lifecycle.
Understanding MVC or MVVM patterns.
Knowledge of OOP and reactive programming.
Experience with unit tests and CI systems.

Responsibilities

Design and implement features with Disney media services.
Collaborate on API design with front-end teams.
Research and develop media playback experiences.
Participate in project estimation and planning.
Work in a small team and with wider engineering org.
Troubleshoot issues across platforms.
