Job summary

Vanguard is seeking an experienced iOS Lead to drive development of our native mobile applications. You will partner with architects to deliver high-performance iOS/Android experiences and mentor a cross-functional team in an agile environment.

The role requires strong object-oriented design, data structures, and testable code. You will translate stories into scalable design, and work across production, testing, and release cycles in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• Experience with native mobile application development.
• Proficiency in Swift or Objective-C and JavaScript.
• Strong understanding of design patterns and data modeling.
• 8+ years of software development; 5+ years in mobile.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation for existing mobile native apps.
• Collaborate with architects to deliver high-performance apps.
• Issue design, code and test inspections across the lifecycle.
• Translate user stories into design and code with automated tests.
• Mentor team on best practices and performance optimization.
