Job summary

Capital One is seeking an experienced iOS Software Engineer to drive mobile initiatives across the platform. You will develop iOS client code, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and participate in agile ceremonies to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.

You will mentor junior engineers, influence platform decisions, and stay current with Swift and related technologies to deliver compelling customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• At least 4 years of software engineering experience (internship excluded).
• At least 3 years building iOS applications.
• At least 3 years of experience with Swift.

Responsibilities

• Develop iOS client code solutions that align with product strategy and engineering guidelines.
• Collaborate with software engineers, UX/UI, QA, and product owners to deliver high-quality user experiences.
• Participate in agile ceremonies to ensure commitments are met with quality and timeliness.
• Mentor junior to mid-level team members and advocate mobile platform best practices.
• Own and deliver major components in partnership with senior engineers and architects.
• Review pull requests to ensure Swift idioms and language best practices.
