Job summary

Schwab Technology Services is building a high-performing mobile development team focused on delivering a top-tier iOS experience for Schwab users. You will design, develop, test, and deploy native iOS apps, collaborating with architects and stakeholders to craft robust solutions for banking and investing features.

The role requires 6+ years of native iOS development, deep Swift/SwiftUI expertise, and hands-on experience with REST APIs, testing, and CI/CD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering or related discipline
• 6+ years of native iOS development
• Expert in Swift programming
• Experience with Combine and SwiftUI
• Experience writing unit tests and automated UI tests with XCTest
• Experience integrating REST APIs
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Experience reviewing code and mentoring juniors
• Familiarity with reactive architecture and SOLID design
• Experience collaborating with architects and stakeholders for solutions
• Experience debugging memory and performance issues
• Accessibility features (VoiceOver, Dynamic Type)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Prepare specifications, design, develop and support mobile applications per Schwab standards
• Optimize designs for phones and tablets with user experience focus
• Create and run unit tests across devices
• Build native iOS apps and support production systems
• Document development work per Schwab guidelines
• Ramp up on new languages quickly and contribute across teams
