Synechron in New York, NY is seeking an experienced iOS/Swift Developer to design, build, test, and maintain high-quality mobile apps for Apple platforms. You will work with Swift, UIKit/SwiftUI, and REST APIs to deliver reliable, high-performing experiences.

The role requires 6+ years of iOS experience, proficiency in Swift, Xcode, and modern architectural patterns, with opportunities to impact products across fintech clients and global teams.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional experience developing iOS applications.
• Strong proficiency in Swift and familiarity with Objective-C.
• Experience with Xcode, Swift Package Manager, and Git.
• Solid knowledge of UIKit and/or SwiftUI.
• Experience working with REST APIs, JSON, and asynchronous programming.
• Understanding of iOS architecture patterns such as MVVM, MVC, or VIPER.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop iOS applications using Swift and Apple development frameworks.
• Build responsive, scalable, and user-friendly mobile interfaces.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, backend developers, and QA engineers to deliver new features.
• Translate business and technical requirements into well-structured, maintainable code.
• Integrate RESTful APIs, third-party services, and backend systems.
• Write unit tests, UI tests, and integration tests to ensure application quality.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve performance and application issues.
