Job summary

Tumba Solutions Ltd. is seeking an experienced iOS engineer to design, build and ship sophisticated applications for the iOS platform.

You will participate in UX discussions, ensure adherence to Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines, and collaborate with clients to deliver impactful features while mentoring peers. Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of software development, 3+ years iOS, deep SwiftUI/Combine/UIKit/Core Data knowledge, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• 3+ years iOS development.
• Advanced knowledge of SwiftUI, Combine, UIKit, Core Data.
• Advanced knowledge of the concurrency model in Swift, including async/await, structured concurrency, and Actors.
• CI/CD setup and pipelines experience.
• Open-source contributions a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test and distribute advanced applications for iOS.
• Contribute to UX discussions to ensure intuitive apps aligned with Apple's Human Interface Guidelines.
• Collaborate with team and clients to define, design and ship new features.
• Guides junior developers and removes impediments they might encounter.
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability and reliability.
• Continuously discover, evaluate and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
