Job summary

Synechron seeks a Senior iOS Developer to design, build, and maintain native iOS apps and an SDK for a leading financial services client. You will lead architecture decisions, implement features, and ensure high-quality, well-tested code across multiple releases.

The role emphasizes mentoring, security, and release readiness in a dynamic, global consulting environment. The base salary is location-dependent, with Charlotte, NC and Plano, TX figures cited.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional iOS development experience.
• Proficiency in Swift with SwiftUI and UIKit.
• Strong knowledge of iOS architecture patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture).
• Experience with XCTest and XCUITest testing.
• SDK development and API design for third-party consumption.
• Secure coding: Keychain, biometrics, encryption.
• CI/CD for iOS (Fastlane, Xcode Cloud, Jenkins).
• App Store submission, provisioning and code signing.
• RESTful API integration and JSON parsing.
• Git-based collaboration and testing best practices.
• Leadership in code reviews and mentoring juniors.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain native iOS apps and SDK components using SwiftUI and UIKit.
• Lead architecture decisions and feature design for scalability and security.
• Implement features per client requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Ensure compatibility with latest iOS releases and backward compatibility.
• Securely integrate with backend APIs and third-party SDKs.
• Own release readiness, release notes, and rollback planning.
• Mentor mid-level and junior developers on best practices and testing.
