Job summary

Beacon AI in San Carlos, CA is seeking a Staff iOS Software Engineer to lead our mobile team and build high-impact iOS applications that power our flight safety platform. You will work closely with senior engineers, designers, and product managers to deliver user-facing features and production systems for real-time safety-critical use.

The role requires 9+ years in iOS development, strong Swift/SwiftUI experience, UIKit exposure, async/await, and a proven ability to ship polished mobile products

Qualifications

• 9+ years of iOS development experience or equivalent.
• Strong Swift/SwiftUI experience with UIKit exposure.
• Familiarity with async/await, multithreading, or GCD.
• Experience integrating with APIs and real-time data sources.
• Proven ability to collaborate in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement iOS features using Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit and modern iOS frameworks.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to build reliable, high-performance mobile apps.
• Integrate with internal and external APIs for real-time data and functionality.
• Work with designers and product managers to deliver intuitive user experiences.
• Participate in code reviews and follow iOS best practices.
• Ensure code quality, performance, and maintainability through testing and documentation.
