Description

In this role, you will design and implement new software in close partnership with SW, HW, and other disciplines across Apple, including Design, Product Marketing, Privacy, Security, Cloud Services, HomePod, and AppleTV. Your passion for technology, privacy, and user experiences will be key to success. This job involves driving new features for HomeKit Camera experiences. A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and the ability to collaborate closely with others are essential. Responsibilities include:

1. Design, architect, and implement new apps, frameworks, and daemons using Swift/Objective-C.
2. Understand product requirements, engage with team members and customers to define solutions, and estimate work scope.
3. Implement features involving communication with related products and cloud back-ends.
4. Deliver solutions that adapt to a rapidly evolving product landscape.
5. Write comprehensive unit tests, build test and verification pipelines, and work with software integration teams.
6. Participate in architecture and code reviews, and assist in hiring processes.

Minimum Qualifications

• Proficient in Swift and/or Objective-C, with experience in Apple frameworks and technologies.
• Experience shipping high-quality software with responsive, interactive UI.
• Ability to create powerful APIs and understand layered software architecture.
• Strong knowledge of algorithms, data structures, object-oriented programming, and design patterns.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• Effective communication and collaboration skills across teams.
• Ability to manage ambiguity and complexity in dynamic environments.
• Proactive, strategic mindset focused on simplifying complex problems.

At Apple, base pay ranges from $166,600 to $296,300, depending on skills, experience, and location. Employees may also participate in stock programs, receive benefits like medical and dental coverage, retirement plans, discounts, educational reimbursement, and potentially bonuses or relocation assistance.
