Cogent Infotech invites applications for a Senior iOS Application Developer – Enterprise Mobility in Washington, DC. You will design, build, and support native iOS front-line applications and the cloud services they consume, focusing on reliable passenger workflows, offline transactions, and secure mobile integrations.

The role requires hands-on experience with Swift/Objective-C, REST APIs, OAuth/OIDC, and high-availability frontline systems.

Qualifications

• Experience with native iOS development using Swift and Objective-C.
• Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and OAuth/OIDC authentication flows.
• Familiarity with iOS performance, accessibility, and offline capabilities.
• Experience with high-availability frontline systems in transportation or retail contexts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain native iOS features using Swift and Objective-C.
• Implement ticket scan/search, passenger and manifest presentation, and check-in workflows.
• Maintain offline storage, local queues, and synchronization patterns.
• Integrate iOS clients with REST APIs and secure storage with proper error handling.
• Build reusable UI elements and feature-flagged behaviors.
• Improve performance, accessibility, and crash resilience on iPhone/iPad.
