The ideal candidate will design with MVVM, tackle complex algorithms, and lead testing and automation. You will collaborate across product, design, and backend teams, and mentor juniors while delivering reliable, scalable mobile solutions on time.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of iOS development experience.
• 8+ years combined Swift, Objective-C, and C++.
• Proven experience publishing iOS apps to the App Store.
• Strong MVVM architecture expertise.
• Advanced knowledge of algorithms and data structures.
• Proficiency with macOS, Linux, and scripting.
• End-to-end SDLC experience.
• Strong automated testing mindset.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with Git, SVN, and other VCS.
• Excellent communication and ability to work independently in a contract role.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance iOS applications using Swift and Objective-C.
• Architect applications using MVVM and best design practices.
• Write clean, efficient, reusable, and testable code following iOS development standards.
• Solve complex algorithmic and data structure problems.
• Participate in end-to-end application development from requirements to deployment and support.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers.
• Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews).
• Implement and maintain unit tests and support automated testing initiatives.
• Use source control systems effectively (Git or similar).
• Debug, optimize, and enhance application performance and stability.
• Ensure applications meet Apple’s guidelines and publish apps to the Apple App Store.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance when required.
