Job summary

Ladders seeks a Senior Engineer, iOS Consumer Apps for a remote role in the US to lead the design and development of consumer-facing mobile experiences for our digital commerce presence. You will collaborate with product, backend, Android, and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions and improve app performance and reliability.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only. Compensation: $103,000 – $127,000 annually.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of professional software development experience with hands-on iOS development.
• Strong experience with Swift and Apple iOS frameworks.
• Understanding of architectural patterns such as MVVM or Clean Architecture.
• Experience building scalable, high-quality mobile applications.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and backend service integration.
• Experience with testing, debugging, and performance optimization.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop features for the company's iOS applications.
• Contribute to the full app lifecycle from discovery to post-launch support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create scalable solutions.
• Write clean and maintainable Swift code following best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and Agile ceremonies.
• Partner with Android and backend teams for cross-platform experiences.
• Identify opportunities to enhance app performance and reliability.
