Job summary

Quidient is seeking an iOS Engineer to own major iOS features and drive 5D product development. You will design scalable architectures, integrate ARKit/RealityKit, and collaborate across SDET, Algorithm, and Infrastructure teams to ship reliable, high-performance mobile experiences.

You will work in a hybrid role near Columbia, Maryland, bringing deep iOS expertise, strong API design, and a hands-on approach to building advanced spatial computing apps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related engineering field.
• 7 years of iOS development with large, complex codebases.
• 3 years building 3D apps or working with spatial computing.
• Deep Swift expertise with hands-on iOS development.
• Experience with ARKit, RealityKit, CoreML and related iOS frameworks.
• Strong RESTful API design and client-server integration.
• Proficient in C and Python.
• Ownership mindset for leading initiatives in a small team.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of major iOS features from prototype to production.
• Architect and design scalable iOS capabilities within existing codebases.
• Drive decisions on SDK/app construction and internal framework patterns.
• Build and optimize 5D mobile apps using ARKit/RealityKit and GPU acceleration.
• Collaborate with SDET, Algorithm, and Infrastructure teams for production readiness.
• Design RESTful APIs and integrate with server-side components.
• Mentor the iOS team and shape technical direction as the product scales.
