About The Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior iOS Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality applications for iPhone and iPad. In this role, you will contribute throughout the mobile application development lifecycle, from understanding product requirements and evaluating technical approaches to releasing and supporting applications. You will build responsive experiences using Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, and Apple development frameworks, while applying sound architectural and security practices.

You will collaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers, QA engineers, and backend developers to deliver scalable, user-friendly features. The role also includes improving application performance and reliability, participating in technical decisions, and supporting the growth of engineering practices across the team. We are looking for someone who can take ownership of complex work, communicate clearly, and balance delivery needs with long-term code quality.

Qualifications

Candidates should have 5–8 years of professional iOS development experience and strong proficiency in Swift, including object-oriented and protocol-oriented programming. Hands-on experience with both UIKit and SwiftUI, and knowledge of architectures such as MVVM, MVC, or Clean Architecture, are required. You should be comfortable integrating RESTful APIs, working with JSON and third-party SDKs, and using asynchronous programming approaches, including GCD and Swift Concurrency with async/await.

Relevant experience should include local persistence with technologies such as Core Data, SwiftData, UserDefaults, or SQLite; source control with Git; and dependency management using Swift Package Manager or CocoaPods. You should understand ARC, memory management, application lifecycle, performance optimization, and iOS security practices, including Keychain and secure data handling. Experience writing unit tests, supporting UI tests, debugging crashes, and using crash reporting tools is expected.

You should also be familiar with App Store deployment, provisioning profiles, code signing, and release management. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills are important. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred; equivalent practical experience will also be considered. Experience with Combine, CI/CD, Fastlane, Xcode Cloud, Jenkins, push notifications, deep linking, background processing, accessibility, Agile/Scrum, or Instruments is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain robust iOS applications and responsive interfaces using Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, and Apple frameworks. Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code that follows established engineering standards. Integrate APIs and backend services, implement secure authentication and data storage, and use appropriate concurrency and data-handling techniques to support smooth performance.

Investigate and resolve technical issues, crashes, and performance bottlenecks. Create unit tests and contribute to UI testing to protect product quality and reliability. Work with cross-functional partners to clarify requirements, estimate effort, and deliver features on schedule. Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical planning. Coordinate provisioning, certificates, App Store Connect submissions, and application releases. Keep current with Apple platform updates and iOS development practices, mentor junior developers, and contribute to improving team processes and engineering standards.
