Job summary

Jobtailor leads the development of sophisticated, data-dense front-end systems in a fast-paced environment. The role focuses on owning Angular architecture, mentoring distributed engineers, and advancing AI-enabled automation across multiple enterprise portals.

You will collaborate with PMs and backend teams to deliver reliable frontend solutions, while upholding high engineering standards and scalable design. This is a senior leadership front-end position based in the Bay Area.

Qualifications

• Senior+ or Staff-level front end engineering experience with a track record of technical leadership.
• Strong hands-on experience with Angular.
• Experience with reactive UI patterns and RxJS or equivalent observables-based architecture.
• Comfort building and owning enterprise, data-dense web applications.
• Experience leading or mentoring other engineers, ideally across a distributed team.
• Genuine interest in AI-driven automation.
• Experience stepping into or consolidating a tech lead function previously shared across multiple people (preferred).
• Startup background (preferred).
• Experience with mobile web, not native mobile or React Native (preferred).
• Domain experience in mobility, logistics, fleet, or other operationally complex enterprise software (bonus).
• Experience with mapping or GPS-adjacent UI (bonus).
• Experience collaborating closely with design in Figma-based workflows (bonus).
