Google Mountain View, CA, USA is seeking a frontend engineer with strong UX sensibilities to join the Search team. The role involves solving complex UI challenges, collaborating with UX designers, and delivering polished, accessible experiences across platforms.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree and 6+ years in front-end development or UX engineering, including 3+ years with SwiftUI. In-person interviews at Mountain View or Playa Vista campuses are typical.

• Test concepts for iteration, research, and validation while delivering innovative, engaging prototypes and drive explorations of experiences across a portfolio of features and products in the app.
• Partner with senior members of the team, promote standards, and integrate changes into guidelines, and collaborate effectively across functional teams.
• Lead or contribute to key projects, ensure a holistic systems-thinking approach, advocate for user needs across platforms and applications, and foster a system-wide design mindset within the team.

• Experience partnering with UX Design teams.
• Experience working across full-tech stacks and production environments.
• Understanding of UX practices and processes, including user-centered design and research.
