About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior iOS Developer to join a large-scale mobile application development team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on experience developing native iOS applications using Swift, SwiftUI, and Objective‑C, along with expertise in mobile architecture, API integration, testing, and performance optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain native iOS applications.
- Develop scalable, maintainable, and high-quality mobile solutions.
- Work closely with Product Owners, SMEs, Technical Managers, BA, and QA teams.
- Integrate mobile applications with REST APIs and centralized authentication services.
- Follow mobile architecture and design patterns such as MVC, MVP, and MVVM.
- Create and maintain software architecture, HLD/LLD, and non‑functional requirement documentation.
- Participate in requirements gathering, technical analysis, sprint planning, estimation, and Agile ceremonies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
- Perform code reviews, unit testing, and application performance optimization.
- Work with device capabilities including biometric authentication, camera, location, notifications, and permissions.
- Collaborate with distributed onshore/offshore development teams.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 7+ years of overall mobile development experience.
- 5+ years of hands‑on iOS development experience.
- Strong experience with Swift, SwiftUI, and Objective‑C.
- Strong object‑oriented programming knowledge.
- Experience with iOS frameworks such as Core Data and Core Animation.
- Hands‑on experience with Xcode for coding, debugging, and deployment.
- Experience with offline storage, threading, memory management, and performance tuning.
- Strong experience integrating REST APIs and JSON.
- Experience with MVC, MVP, and MVVM architecture patterns.
- Experience with XCTest and XCUITest.
- Experience with Git or other version‑control systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of low‑level C‑based libraries.
- Experience with cloud messaging APIs and push notifications.
- Knowledge of biometric authentication and mobile device capabilities.
