Generate Capital, PBC is hiring a Sr. Manager, Investor Relations & Strategic Finance in San Francisco.

You will lead investor-focused financial modeling, KPI development, and fundraising support, collaborating with FP&A, Asset Management, and Operations to align assumptions and outputs. The role requires a Master’s degree with 4+ years in IR/finance, strong Excel/Anaplan expertise, and experience with CRM/ERP tools for capital raising.

Qualifications

Master's degree required with 4+ years post-baccalaureate experience in investor relations and strategic finance.
4 years of financial modeling experience including structured investment modeling, risk assessment, and forecasting.
3 years of accounting principles and three-statement financial models.
2 years in buy-side/sell-side due diligence.
Knowledge of DCF, valuation, capital structure fundamentals.
Experience with institutional investor fundraising or IR activities.
Ability to translate analyses into insights for leadership and investors.
Expertise in Excel-based modeling with complex formulas and scenarios.
Anaplan modeling concepts and multi-scenario analyses.
Modeling applied to investment analysis, forecasting, and decision support.
Experience with CRM/ERP tools to track fundraising activities.
SQL/Python data analysis and Power BI automation.

Responsibilities

Serve as primary finance contact for investor-related modeling and inquiries.
Support fundraising roadshows, investor meetings, and marketing events.
Coordinate onboarding of new investors with internal and external teams.
Develop and maintain KPIs and management reports for leadership and Board.
Produce monthly actual vs. budget reports, rolling forecasts, and variance analyses.
Build and review complex financial models for strategic planning and reporting.
Ensure model integrity and adherence to internal standards.
Collaborate with FP&A, Asset Management, Underwriting, and Operations to align assumptions.
Translate business strategy into scalable financial frameworks.
