Job summary

Invesco seeks a Senior Engineer, Investment Technology to design, build, and support capabilities for the ETF platform across Equities, Fixed Income, and Alternatives. You will collaborate with PMs, researchers, and business teams to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions, modernizing architectures and improving data pipelines, reliability, and development standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
• 3+ years of software or data engineering experience.
• 3+ years of Python development experience.
• 3+ years of SQL experience with performance tuning and ETL.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and support data engineering workflows and platform services.
• Develop Python-based services and microservices for analytics and portfolio workflows.
• Build and optimize SQL-based data processing and ETL pipelines.
• Implement and support distributed, event-driven architectures (Kafka).
• Develop cloud-native apps on AWS including Lambda, S3, ECS/EKS, and Aurora.
• Design CI/CD pipelines and ensure reliable releases.
• Ensure data quality, observability, and traceability.
