Job summary

Victory Capital Management, headquartered in San Antonio, TX, seeks a Senior Investment Risk Analyst to build advanced analytics for the Centralized Investment Risk Team. The role demands strong coding and data skills and knowledge of asset management.

You will report to the Head of Investment Risk and work with multiple franchises. You will lead risk reporting improvements, provide performance commentary, and support special projects with data-driven conclusions.

Qualifications

Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent preferred.
10 years of relevant experience in investment risk or related fields.
Familiarity with Bloomberg, FactSet, Morningstar Direct, or MSCI.
Knowledge of asset management strategies and vehicles such as ETFs and mutual funds.
Willingness to learn coding (Python, R, VBA) and use APIs for data analysis.

Responsibilities

Lead enhancements to the Investment Risk reporting suite from data/coding and visualization perspectives.
Provide commentary and summary analyses on performance and risk of Victory strategies.
Monitor and manage the risk reporting architecture during changes like new franchises or strategies.
Collaborate on special projects with data collection, analysis and written conclusions.
Build relationships across Investment Franchises, Victory Management and functions like Compliance and IT.
