Job summary

Victory Capital Management is seeking an Investment Risk Analyst to join the front office that partners directly with Portfolio Managers to understand and manage risk. You will maintain and enhance sophisticated risk models, synthesize outputs into clear investment insights, and support committees with timely analyses.

The role requires curiosity, strong quantitative skills, and collaboration across Risk, PMs, and Marketing teams. Excellent benefits accompany this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in quantitative discipline required.
• 3–5 years in investment risk analytics or quantitative research.
• Strong knowledge of equities, fixed income, derivatives and portfolio construction.
• Experience with risk metrics: tracking error, VaR, beta, factors, drawdown, Sharpe.
• Hands-on with Bloomberg PORT, FactSet, or MSCI RiskMetrics.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, validate, and enhance front office risk models used by Portfolio Managers.
• Prepare and distribute risk reports covering VaR, tracking error, stress testing, liquidity, factor exposures.
• Provide risk attribution analysis and portfolio diagnostics on demand.
• Translate quantitative outputs into actionable narratives for investment teams.
• Collaborate with Portfolio Managers on ad hoc research and portfolio construction questions.
