Job summary

State of Wisconsin Investment Board (SWIB) seeks a Senior Data Analytics Engineer to design, transform, and monitor investment data assets across security master, reference data, pricing, and holdings. You will troubleshoot data issues, build analytics-ready datasets, and apply statistical methods within CI/CD pipelines.

This role requires SQL, Python, Git, and collaboration with multiple teams in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in data analytics, data science, engineering, information systems, finance, or related field.
• 6+ years of progressive experience in analytics engineering, investment data management, or related discipline.
• Strong understanding of security mastering, pricing, reference data, and how they affect downstream processes.
• Advanced SQL skills and working proficiency in Python; hands-on Git experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize SQL and Python transformations, data models, and analytics-ready datasets.
• Trace data lineage from external providers and coordinate data remediation with teams.
• Lead validation, monitoring, and governance for data quality and completeness.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship in investment data and engineering practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across Investment Management, Operations, Risk, and Technology.
