Job summary

Nationwide, a Fortune 100 company, is seeking an Investment Professional Data Analyst to shape how data drives front-office decisions in a multi-billion-dollar investment portfolio. You will design analytics structures, power front-office dashboards, and develop reusable data products that accelerate research and AI-enabled workflows.

You will collaborate with Data Governance and Tech teams to ensure scalable, auditable data pipelines, with strong SQL, Python, and BI tool expertise.

Qualifications

• Proven advanced SQL and data-modeling capability with experience building complex queries and robust analytical data models.

Responsibilities

• Design curated analytic data structures and shared business logic for core dimensions in partnership with Data Governance and Data Management.
• Provide controlled, reusable data access through SQL, APIs, and related interfaces for quantitative analysts and reporting teams.
• Build and maintain the analytics and semantic layer that supports front-office dashboards, quantitative tools, and research workflows.
• Monitor and improve the quality, consistency, and documentation of analytical data and reports.
• Support data needs for AI and agentic workflows with governance and auditing.
• Collaborate with Technology to align analytics with enterprise architecture (Snowflake, Databricks, Aladdin).
• Build analytics-ready datasets and reusable data products for reporting, research, and evolving AI workflows.
• Apply automation and AI-enabled techniques to improve data ingestion, tagging, reconciliation, and metadata capture.
