Job summary

VC Stack in New York is looking for a Senior Investment Analyst responsible for developing investment strategies, managing investment processes, and supporting economic development initiatives. You will lead research and benchmarking efforts and contribute to strategic partnerships within the SEDF.

A Bachelor's degree is required, with a preference for a graduate degree. The role offers a salary range of $150,000 – $190,000 annually, alongside exceptional benefits including health insurance, generous time off, and a commitment to diversity and inclusion.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of, or experience in, investment or business operations.
• Experience in financial analysis.
• Strong communication, research, and presentation skills.
• Sophisticated understanding of public policy issues.
• Understanding of economic development and policy.
• Ability to maintain focus on achieving meaningful impact and results.
• Experience with multi-stakeholder relationship management.
• Experience with CRM and project management software.

Responsibilities

• Support development of investment themes and strategies.
• Lead landscaping and benchmarking for new investment opportunities.
• Manage investment processes and catalog deal details.
• Draft investment recommendations and contribute to due diligence.
• Forge strategic partnerships for SEDF.
• Support asset management and improve investment processes.
