Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related fields or equivalent work experience.
• CFA designation not required initially but will be an expected educational pursuit.
• Experience with fixed-income markets or portfolio management is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Be prepared to manage a sector or sectors of the corporate bond market.
• Trade securities in both the new issue and secondary markets.
• Monitor daily news flow of securities markets and sector securities held in portfolios.
• Prepare reports and present to senior management on securities holdings.
• Assist in due diligence for new investment ideas.
• Collaborate with team members on group research projects.
• Monitor movements in market indices, interest rates and credit spreads.
