Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in investment accounting, preferably in insurance.
• Extensive experience with the Singularity investment platform.
• Proven ability to own reporting and ensure all investment documentation is accurate and compliant.
• In-depth knowledge of reinsurance accounting.
• Strong leadership skills with ability to guide a team.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing all aspects of insurance investment accounting and reinsurance accounting.
• Using the Singularity investment platform to manage and monitor investments.
• Serving as the internal expert on Singularity, providing guidance and support to other team members.
• Ensuring all investment documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with industry standards and regulations.
• Owning reporting responsibilities, including preparation, review, and presentation of financial statements and reports.
• Collaborating with other teams to develop and implement investment strategies.
• Continuously evaluating accounting practices to identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes.
• Providing leadership and guidance to junior team members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
