We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Accountant to join our client's fast-paced Accounting and Finance team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing the accounting and financial reporting for our investment portfolios. Job Details

Responsibilities

• Manage the accounting and reconciliation processes for our investment funds.
• Help prepare and review financial statements and monthly NAV statements. Support the annual audit and prepare tax information.
• Provide detailed analytics and performance data to portfolio managers.
• Prepare investor reports and calculate management and incentive fees.
• Assist with presentations for LP meetings, due diligence, KYC processes, and lender requests. Work with compliance and legal teams on filings and reporting.
• Support various special projects, including improving controls and process automation, and onboarding new platforms and products.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA or CMA) is highly preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior-level finance or accounting position, preferably in the Accounting + Finance industry.
• Proven expertise in marketplace lending or unsecured consumer loans.
• Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost accounting, and cost control principles, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Proven expertise in managing large datasets and utilizing advanced data analytics tools; demonstrated ability to analyze complex financial information and provide accurate insights.
• High attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
