Job description


On a day-to-day basis, your work will include:

  • Investigating complaints by undertaking reviews and analysing information from regulator files, documents, board notes and wider industry reports
  • Assessing complaints according to procedures and standards of the organisation and making recommendations on decisions to be taken.
  • Preparing reports, letters and communications in a succinct and clear style.
  • Picking up other ad-hoc tasks from time to time in order that the office carries out its responsibilities effectively

You will ideally be a qualified lawyer with at least 3 years' PQE although paralegals with at least 4-5 years' relevant experience can also be considered. Applications from all levels will be considered on merit. It is absolutely essential that you have had direct previous experience of working on investigations or disputes where the FCA have been involved.

Whilst the preference is for someone to be immediately available, applicants on up to one month's notice in the current position can be considered.

Please note that the rate quoted is on the basis of working via an umbrella company and applicants will be assessed within that pay range according to their level and relevance of experience.
